The SFL is a project launched in 2019 under the auspices of the Russian Football Union.

The main goal is to give competitive practice to the guys graduating from football schools, making a full—fledged tournament for them.

The creation of the SFL is the implementation of one of the strategic decisions taken by the RFU as part of the development of youth football, an important part of our new pyramid for the preparation of the reserve.

Currently, this is the largest project in Russian football, uniting 63 regions of Russia into 6 leagues, collected on a territorial basis (Far East, Northwest, Siberia, Volga region, Center, South), and allowing young football players from all over the country to receive regular playing practice
