The winter ecological shift for the winners and prize-winners of the II International Children's and Youth Award of Rosprirodnadzor "Ecology is everyone's business" ended on Monday at the All–Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok". Children from 35 regions of Russia spent an unforgettable three weeks on the Black Sea coast and have now gone home.

The participants of the shift "Ecology is everyone's business" spent a very exciting and interesting time: they took part in an educational course – an environmental workshop, where they got acquainted with the arboretum "Orlyonka" and mastered modern hydroponics technologies. Also, with the participation of the winners of the project, a whole series of creative classes took place on the Alley of Masters.

In addition, an exhibition of creative works prepared by the participants of the eco-exchange was organized in Orlenka. These are drawings, and Christmas decorations, and shoppers with elements of patchwork, and crafts made of wood.

In total, 50 children from Moscow, Yakutia, Tatarstan, Mordovia, Adygea, Zabaikalsky, Primorsky, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Amur, Sakhalin, Irkutsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Moscow, rested at the special ecological shift in Orlenka Lipetsk, Orel, Tver, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Saratov, Samara, Volgograd and Rostov regions.

The guys were able to see the Black Sea, make new friends, find like-minded people and study ecology with them, do joint projects, acquire interesting skills and develop talents.

In total, 45.5 thousand works from 89 regions of Russia and 33 countries of the near and far abroad were received for the Award of the second season. As the head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Svetlana Radionova noted, the Krasnodar Territory holds the palm for the second year in a row in terms of the number of works received, and if 520 applications were received in the first season, this year their number has more than quadrupled and reached 2,293. The guys from the Rostov region sent 2241 works, from Chelyabinsk – 2172, Novosibirsk – 2168, and from Moscow – 2137. Tatarstan (1852 applications), Moscow region (1569), Nizhny Novgorod (1351), Leningrad (1322) and Volgograd (1239) regions also entered the top ten. Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Leningrad and Volgograd regions became new regions in the top 10 in terms of the number of applications this year.

The chairman of the jury of the award "Ecology is everyone's business" is Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Victoria Abramchenko.
