The ecological class with a unique laboratory for research, aeroponic and multi-tiered hydroponic installations was opened by the head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova within the framework of the international children's and youth award "Ecology is everyone's business" on the territory of the All–Russian Children's Center (VDC) "Orlyonok". It was created with the support of PJSC Polyus.

"You know about our children's environmental project "Ecology is everyone's business". And many of you participate in it. You send your works. The fact that you are here is your merit. Activity and indifference to nature have given you a ticket here – to the "Eaglet". Some of you have sent more than a hundred works, and many have brought their friends to the project. And when there are more people who support the preservation of the sea, air, and earth than those who think I can do, together we can make the planet cleaner and healthier," Svetlana Radionova said at the opening of the class.

After the opening of the class, the head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Environmental Management conducted a lesson on "Ecology", where she talked with the guys and answered their questions.
"I am here to convey a single thought: ecology is everyone's business. When an environmental disaster occurs, for example, an oil pipe breaks into the sea, Rosprirodnadzor, like an ambulance service, goes to the place to stop the destruction of nature – to stop the pain," Svetlana Radionova said at a meeting with the eaglets.

In the Ecology class of Rosprirodnadzor, schoolchildren will be able to study biology and chemistry in depth, conduct research. New modern equipment has been installed here: a rack for germinating seeds and growing seedlings of perennial and annual flowers, for breeding fruit and vegetable products in the winter and autumn period. The classroom has an aeroponic installation – propagator for cutting indoor and ornamental fruit and berry plants, as well as a multi-tiered hydroponic system for growing green spaces and equipment for organizing design and research work.

"The International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business" is a project thanks to which we saw a new generation. These children will soon solve the issue of the purity of our planet, and already now the guys are offering solutions to non-child environmental problems. Our task is to support them, give them a good start. The opening of the eco–class is a very timely decision. In–depth study of biology will help children to better understand not only how to preserve nature, but also why it is important to do it," said Rustam Romanenkov, Deputy Director General of the Center for Arctic Initiatives.

The opening of the Ecology class at the Orlyonok VDC was held as part of the Rosprirodnadzor award "Ecology is Everyone's business". The main mission of the project is to involve children and adolescents in the topic of environmental conservation and respect for nature. The class will be attended by both children from specialized environmental shifts, including active participants of the Rosprirodnadzor award, and children from other detachments.

Fifty active participants of the award received free vouchers to the "Eaglet" for the shift, which runs until June 19 this year. The vouchers were provided by the federal partner of the project JSC Uralchem. This year, applications have already been received from children and teenagers from all 85 regions of Russia and 15 foreign countries. Everyone from 6 to 17 years old can take part in the project by submitting an application on the website https://экологияделокаждого .RF.

The general partner of the award is the ANO Center for Arctic Initiatives. Federal partners: JSC "RNG", JSC "Uralchem", VDC "Orlyonok", Moscow Zoo. The project was supported by the Soyuzmultfilm film Studio, the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren, the Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina.
