The International Earth Day in Voronezh was celebrated with symbolic tree planting.

Employees of the Central Chernozem Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor together with students of the 102nd Voronezh school planted 30 seedlings of larch. This is the most frost-resistant tree of the taiga, and the only coniferous tree that annually sheds its needles. Environmental experts and schoolchildren wanted to draw attention to environmental problems and showed an example of a responsible human attitude to the environment. Moreover, the guys from this school are prize–winners of the "Ecology is everyone's business" award.

Last year they participated so actively in the competition that they set a record in their region for the number of submitted works – about 300 applications! For this, they were awarded a certificate for seedlings. And now the school yard has become richer and greener. And the guys who know how to love and respect nature will not stop there. Right during the green campaign, fifth–graders - novice eco bloggers filmed a report and plan to compete for prizes and wonderful gifts in the third season of the competition.

We are waiting for new, interesting and kind projects from Voronezh schoolchildren aimed at taking care of the world.
