The head of the Central Chernozem Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor Alexey Karyakin presented awards to the winners of the international children's and youth award "Ecology is everyone's business" from the Voronezh region. Holding the award ceremony, he highly appreciated the activity of schoolchildren of the Chernozem region, because this year the number of submitted works has increased 8 times compared to 2021 (almost 900 works).

Seventeen-year-old Angelina Nazarova from Sadovoye village took 1st place in the nomination "Ecorisunok", and ten-year-old Alexander Akimov - 3rd place in the nomination "ESG-generation" for a video in which he told about how he plays with preschool children in toys made of recyclable materials: plastic caps, tubes, capsules from toys "Kinder surprise."

Also, eight children were awarded a special prize for their participation in the eco-award. These are Anastasia Isaeva, Vadim Bortnikov, Geoffrey Kravchenko, Elena Shkurletova, Alexandra Shelkunova, Zlata Lyakhovich, Anastasia Yatsenty, Anastasia Islamgulova.

This year, a special prize was awarded to educational institutions whose students actively participated in the competition. The guys from Voronezh MBOU "SOSH No. 102" submitted 272 applications for the competition, for such activity the school was awarded a certificate for thuja seedlings. They will be planted on the school grounds in the spring, schoolchildren will take part in the planting together with employees of the Rosprirodnadzor Department.

The award was established by Rosprirodnadzor in 2021 with the aim of environmental education of children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 years, identifying the most talented children and encouraging them. In total, more than 45.5 thousand applications were received for the Award in 2022. More than 2.2 thousand applications were received from pupils of orphanages, boarding schools, social rehabilitation centers, correctional schools and kindergartens of compensating type. Children and teenagers from 89 subjects of the Russian Federation and 33 countries of the near and far abroad took part in the Award.
