On December 22, 2022, an award ceremony was held in Kazan for participants of the II International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business" from the Republic of Tatarstan.

The head of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor Fayaz Shakirov welcomed the guys from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Buinsk and Chistopol, Sarmanovsky, Baltasinsky municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

He also thanked the environmental agencies and Executive Committees of municipalities for promoting environmental projects and assistance in organizing the sending of applications of children of the Republic of Tatarstan for participation in the Award, expressed gratitude to schools, students, parents of the republic for participation, and of course congratulated them on worthy victories in various nominations.

In 2022, the Republic of Tatarstan became one of the leaders of the regions participating in the International Award, more than 1,850 works were sent from students and schools to participate in various nominations. The number of applications has increased by 6 times compared to the previous 2021.

I am glad that the younger generation already knows from school age about the relevance of environmental issues, environmental protection and the need for careful attitude to natural resources, Fayaz Shakirov noted.

Together with the head of the Department, active participants and winners of the II International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business" were congratulated by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor Olga Melnik, Assistant Tatar Environmental Interdistrict Prosecutor Marcel Kanafeev.

Recall that the International Prize "Ecology is everyone's business" was approved in 2021 by the Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Management.
