Under the slogan "Let's make the region cleaner!" Slavgorod schoolchildren together with the South Siberian Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor held an action to clean up the city from garbage and sorted the collected waste.

The participants of the subbotnik were divided into three teams: some removed plastic, others glass, and others paper and cardboard. Thus, 150 bags of garbage were collected. Separately collected waste was transferred to a specialized organization for disposal and recycling.

The inspectors expressed gratitude to the students for their help in improving the city and noted that everyone is responsible for the environmental situation, and only through joint efforts can it be changed for the better.
