On December 21, the representative of the North Caucasus Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor Ali Aliyev and the acting head of the Environmental Supervision Department for the Republic of Dagestan Guram Sultanov solemnly presented the diploma of the special prize || of the International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business" to the director of the State Educational Institution RD "Bavtugai Specialized Boarding School named after M.G. Gamzatov" Nutsalkhan Akhmedov.

The boarding school students were among the Prize winners for their drawing on asphalt on the theme of respect for nature.

Denis Plaksa, Deputy Head of the Department for the Protection of Wildlife and Protected Areas of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Dagestan, Zaripat Magomedova, Deputy Director for Environmental Education of the Dagestan Nature Reserve, and Aminat Magomedova, representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Dagestan, also took part in the award ceremony.

They not only thanked the winners for their participation and wished them good luck and further victories, but also supplemented the valuable prizes of the Ecology is Everyone's Business Award with their gifts - a new issue of the Red Book of Dagestan and popular science literature of the Dagestan Reserve.

The International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business" was established by Rosprirodnadzor in March 2021 to popularize the topic of ecology and environmental conservation. This year, the total number of works from Russia and other countries of the world amounted to more than 45 thousand. About 700 works were selected for the final of the award, which were included in the shortlist for the jury of the children's and youth award "Ecology is everyone's business!", among them was a work from the Republic of Dagestan.
