Fascinating ecology lessons in the Rostov region
The conversation with children about ecology was organized by the staff of Rosprirodnadzor.
They told the students of primary school No. 1 of Aksai district about endangered species of animals and efforts to preserve biological diversity. At the eco-lesson, the children learned why and how to protect nature, which helps to preserve a variety of animal species on earth, and got better acquainted with the unique flora and fauna of their native land.
The children were shown a film about the Rostov Nature Reserve. This is the only steppe zone in Europe that has the status of a protected natural area. Rare and listed in the Red Book plants have been preserved there.
A great opportunity to tell the world about this fascinating world of fragrant steppes and sand dunes is participation in the Ecology – Everyone's Business award. In the nomination "Ecotourism" the contestants tell about such amazing corners of the planet. The guys really liked this idea, they will definitely discuss it with their parents. And they will also devote their other works to the competition to the topic of protection of red book species of animals, birds and plants.
