About 500 residents of the region, young and old, took part in the "Garden of Memory" campaign dedicated to the exploits of Soviet soldiers in the Great Patriotic War.

Employees of organizations and students, adults and children planted seedlings of pine and birch, which in ten years will turn into a mixed forest, more resistant to fires.

Employees of the Central Chernozem Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor also participated in the ecological and patriotic action. They talked about the opportunity to try their hand at the "Ecology is Everyone's Business" award, to participate with whole families and teams. They called to show by personal example how important it is to form a sense of responsibility for caring for nature, for preserving a prosperous world for future generations. And then, planting a tree will become a good tradition for every Russian family!
