Employees of the Department of State Supervision in the field of waste management conducted an environmental lesson for first-year students of the Institute of Earth Sciences of the Southern Federal University from different countries - Nigeria, Ecuador, Vietnam, Turkmenistan and Madagascar.

Students were told about famous monuments and specially protected natural territories of the Rostov region. We talked about the global problem of landfills and garbage, waste recycling methods. Inspectors showed photos from field trips to landfills.

During the discussion, the students proposed a number of environmental habits that will help conserve natural resources and improve the environmental situation. The inspectors of the Department invited students to take part in the 3rd season of the International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business". They told about the order of participation, new nominations and prizes of the competition.
