Employees of Rosprirodnadzor conducted environmental lessons in schools of the Rostov region and Kalmykia.

Students of school No. 1 of Aksai district, schools No. 54 and No. 8 in Rostov-on-Don and primary school students of Ulankhol school named after Zaya-Pandita learned how vulnerable nature is and discussed human impact on the environment.

The inspectors told the children the reasons for the decline in biological diversity and explained the role of man in nature conservation. During the eco-lesson, the students discussed the features and beauty of the Don Region, including cultural monuments, specially protected natural territories and rivers, the number of which in the Rostov region is more than 4.5 thousand.

The guys showed indifference to environmental problems. They asked inspectors a lot of questions about animal protection measures and waste sorting rules at home, and were surprised to learn that the average amount of waste in one family of 4 people per year is approximately equal to the weight of two cars.

The students shared their experience of participating in environmental events.

After watching a video about the Rostovsky State Natural Biosphere Reserve, students reflected on the need to protect endangered species of animals and plants.

Employees of the interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor for the Rostov region and the Republic of Kalmykia recalled the importance of everyone's contribution to the conservation of nature. The children were invited to participate in the 3rd season of the International Children's and Youth Award of Rosprirodnadzor "Ecology is everyone's business".

Everyone can find a nomination to their liking and show their talents with care for the environment.
