Eco-lessons for schoolchildren and students were held in the Rostov region and Kalmykia
The issues of biodiversity conservation and the problems of anthropogenic human impact on the environment were discussed with schoolchildren of Rostov-on-Don by employees of the Department of State Environmental Supervision.
Classes were held in schools No. 93, No. 97, No. 75 and in Gymnasium No. 12. Experts showed the children photos of landfills and objects of accumulated damage. They told about the huge volumes of waste produced annually, as well as about the ways of sorting and recycling garbage. We talked about the need to form a culture of reasonable consumption and introduce environmental habits into the life of every family.
An eco-lesson was also held for high school students of the Yashkul multidisciplinary gymnasium in Kalmykia. The inspectors discussed with the guys the issues of environmental safety, protection of nature and red Book animals. The high school students shared their experience of participating in environmental events and showed interest in the new nominations of the Ecology is Everyone's Business award.
Students of B.B. Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University also learned about the opportunity to take part in the competition. Future engineers, doctors and biologists can already show their abilities and present interesting projects for the protection of nature. After the open class, the students took part in the improvement of the territory of their faculty. And also visited the building of the Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, where they got acquainted with the activities of the Service.
