Eco-lessons for schoolchildren and students of Elista were conducted by specialists of Rosprirodnadzor
Environmental education of schoolchildren and students of Elista was taken over by employees of the interregional department of Rosprirodnadzor for the Rostov region and the Republic of Kalmykia.
The eco-lesson they held at school No. 3 helped children learn more about why it is important to protect nature and what measures are being taken for this. Such meetings provide not only useful knowledge, but also help to form practical skills: how to save valuable natural resources, how to reduce your environmental footprint, how to handle waste, and so on. Children who already understand the fragility of nature and its value for all mankind will take care of it in adulthood, when they become doctors, teachers, politicians, businessmen. But even today, each of them can make a feasible contribution to the preservation of the planet by participating in the competition and presenting initiatives to protect nature.
The inspectors told in detail about the 12 nominations of the competition not only to schoolchildren, but also to second-year students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Kalmyk State University named after B.B. Gorodovikov. At an open eco-lesson, future engineers were offered to try their hand at the prize. They can show their talents in scientific projects, as well as in the nominations "Ecology of the soul" and "Ecotourism". The most creative and bold ideas will be supported by Rosprirodnadzor, and their authors will have the opportunity to realize their ideas for the protection of nature.
